Food Holidays

There's a new food holiday every day, and we have something to say about each of them.

Celebrate Peanut Brittle Day

Jan 26

The "Mr. Glass" of sandwich spreads, this treat is known by few. Peanut Brittle is known for being a hermit, so many people don't know it that well (FBL included). Thank goodness for this holiday so we can pretend to care.

Celebrate Irish Coffee Day

Jan 25

Sometimes you need a basic drink that gets you crunk. Nothing does this job better than Irish coffee. It has all the benefits of drinking hard liquor with the added pick me up of coffee and cream. It's like a legal speedball.

Celebrate Peanut Butter Day

Jan 24

Woke people love it because it was invented by a black man. Poor people love it because it tastes great and provides lots of protein. Rich people like it as a novelty. It literally does it all, and that's why you'll do anything for it.

Celebrate Pie Day

Jan 23

There are actually a bunch of different pies. Meat pies and chicken pot pies, plus the classics like apple and pumpkin. But don't forget about the experimental pies, like when the flour is made of an addictive drug.

Celebrate Southern Food Day

Jan 22

Southern cuisine has a lot of different people to thank. You could give a shout out to the slave trade, since that let the south become a racist mess that spawned incredible fried chicken. But we want to take it back even further.
