Like The UI Of An App, Rum Can Go Into Light or Dark Mode
There are two styles of rum, and both can be quite tasty: light and dark. The darker rums have bolder flavors. These are like the gals that tell the rest of their friends it's time for a selfie or to move on to another bar. The light rum is a bit trashier, yet more sophisticated at the same time. It's effectively a Dolly Parton. Our bad. Just had to Google if I spelled "Parton" right. Actually ... had to do it again. Got a text in between and forgot the answer. Can't believe she's still alive. Not like she should be dead, but cool she survived that celebrity rapture and what not.
How Rum Get Dark
The answer lies with Nintendo. You need to ask Donkey Kong or Peppy from Star Fox, because both are well versed in the cylinder that makes light rum go dark. The answer: barrels. It's all about the barrels. And the people that make dark rum, they don't treat barrels like the Kong family. Those fools just chuck barrels left and right (and sometimes downward if you got them skills). The barrels are left in tact, and then ta-da a bolder rum.
