Pasta Represents Our Existential Struggles
Noodle pasta like spaghetti are all tangled, and require you to twist them up to eat. That's exactly how many of us feel on the inside. Or maybe you're more of a penne: existing with a deep emptiness in the center of your being. Pasta more than any other food represents our eternal struggle with reality and existence. And that's why we love it. Also when you see pasta in this light, it makes sense why it's loaded with gluten.
Eating Pasta Is Code For Depression
So this is a meme that came out in the early 2020s, and it still holds some truth today (does it? We have no clue. Hoping it does, otherwise our statement from the past makes no sense. And I'm using the royal "we". At the time of this writing, I'm the only person working on this site, so no chance I'm going to check this again.) Apparently saying you "ate pasta" last night means you were super sad. It makes sense considering the nature of pasta, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes you need to eat your pasta to move on to other meals.
